The idea for this doll was inspired by the cross dressing antics of Jumanji: a bisexual man who lives in the depths of Maldives. The creator of this best selling doll, a very hairy man, who wishes to be anonymous, said "He struck me as a very weird person at first, but when he started doing 'favours' for me, he inspired Jumarnbie." When asked why he wished to be anonymous, he replied " it shames me to the core to be inpired by an even hairier person than I am."
Sure, the Jumarnbie may look ugly, but it can perform very distinctive actions and can be posed in certain "positions". And as a special feature, Jumarnbie can "play" with the Ken doll in ways in which Ken only dreamed about.
